You Got a Pappy Boy?

At the recommendation of some guys I work with I started watching Godless on Netflix. All I can say is what a show. I do love westerns and this one hit it out of the park. Westworld definitely made me nostalgic for a good western. Granted Godless is a totally different animal no sci fi story at all just a good old fashion western here. Jeff Daniels has the performance of a lifetime here. He is such a demented bastard you both hate him but love him because this character of Frank Griffin is stupendous. His belief is unwavering and he passes judgement like I have never seen before on screen. Oh the rest of the cast is brilliant too. They have some Firefly like chemistry. It sort of feels like a manga where it throws you into the middle of a story but it catches you and then moves forward to a tremendously good ending. This is a miniseries it definitely has an ending that I don’t think they can go back on. I hope maybe they could do a prequel. The people who developed this show had some really good plot ideas for the show I don’t want to spoil anything for you on this just watch it I binged it in two days if that tells you how into it I got.
